On-site Project Kick-off Meeting

WSB University
23-24 January 2024

MEETING DETAILS

On 23-24 January, 2024, the first Transnational Partner Meeting of the enter-CBL project partners took place at the WSB University as part of the Erasmus+ program.
During the two-day meeting, partners discussed key elements of the project’s implementation and took part in hands-on workshops focused on applying the Challenge Based Learning (CBL) methodology. These workshops were conducted with the active participation of international students from WSB University. The ENTER-CBL project aims to advance entrepreneurship education by developing and promoting a modern, student-centred teaching approach based on Challenge Based Learning.
In the first phase of the project, comprehensive materials covering the CBL methodology, its scope, and best practices will be developed and published on the project’s online platform. This platform will function as a central resource hub, offering educators practical guidelines, tools, and classroom ideas. In addition, training sessions will be organised for teachers who wish to implement the Challenge Based Learning approach in their teaching.
In the subsequent phase, a joint course programme entitled NextGen Entrepreneurs will be created for students from all partner universities. A core component of the course will be the development of business models aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals. Grounded in the Challenge Based Learning methodology, the course aims to strengthen students’ entrepreneurial mindset and problem-solving skills.

After piloting the course, a detailed analysis and evaluation will be conducted among the participants to implement necessary changes and improvements to ensure that the course meets the needs of both students and faculty. Throughout the project implementation, online and face-to-face dissemination activities will be carried out during dedicated project events.
The project implementation will contribute to the dissemination of the Challenge Based Learning teaching method among teachers of entrepreneurship courses, providing them with tools to implement it effectively and valuably.
